Deepen the Practice offers ongoing sessions to support your continued Tai Chi journey. Here, you’ll experience the full Shibashi Set 1 sequence as a moving meditation, allowing the body to settle into rhythm and flow with greater ease and awareness.

Deepen the Practice sessions create space to refine your practice, build confidence, and deepen your connection to the movements in a calm, supportive environment with minimal instruction.
Ideal for those who have completed the course or are familiar with the Shibashi Set 1 form. You’ll also remain connected through the WhatsApp community, with updates on sessions, outdoor practice opportunities, and shared experiences.
There is also a Deepen Membership, offering priority booking and access to Deepen sessions across Porthleven, Carleen & Helston — supporting continuity, flexibility and a more regular connection to the practice.
Sessions are £10 per class, or deepen your practice with a £40 monthly Deepen Membership, with access to Deepen sessions across Porthleven, Carleen & Helston (booking recommended due to limited spaces).
Deepen Memberships receive priority booking and, in five-week months, an extra week to enjoy and deepen your practice.
Designed to support continuity, confidence and connection, this option offers a safe, welcoming environment to return to each week. It also gives flexibility across venues — if you miss a session, you have the option to attend another Deepen session that same week at a different location, where space allows.
Many participants find that attending weekly helps maintain momentum, deepen the sense of flow, and support ongoing wellbeing — both in body and mind.
These sessions support general wellbeing and relaxation and are not a replacement for medical or mental health care.
